In today’s post I wanted to go through a quick how-to on a style of fat burning cardio that I’ve really been liking. It’s fast, intense, and doesn’t kill your day. All you need is the will to kick ass for 20-25 minutes and couple pieces of (small) gym equipment.

Here’s how you do it:

Choose 3 exercises. [1] Should be a an active recovery exercise like Jump Rope (my favorite) or Jumping Jacks, Seal Jacks, etc. [2] Should be an exercises that is moderately intense like Kettlebell Swings, Mountain Climbers, Sled Drags, or Weighted Carries. [3] Should be an all-out, balls-to-the-wall, high intensity exertion like sprints, sled sprints, max effort jump squats, etc.

[NOTE] This style of training will help you rip-up while maintaining your heard earned muscle mass.

Pick your rep ranges (I usually do 100 on the jump rope, 10-15 on KB Swings, and a sprint from 40-80 yards.

Now, pick the amount of rounds. (I shoot for 10).

Take minimal breaks, as breaks aren’t for beasts.

As long as you give 110% effort, you will have good success with doing this on your off days from lifting in addition to a sound nutritional program.
